Thanksgiving and Prayer

 ¹⁵For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, ¹⁶I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, ¹⁷that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, ¹⁸ having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,


That's my prayer for the people I'm working with this morning, as well as the prayer for my family. That we would have a "spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him..."

This morning, God has given us a full team of musicians.  They are all very precious servants of the Lord, willing to serve Jesus this morning.

All people that love Jesus, and serve Him this morning.  I pray that they will be hungry for the word.  That their family will hear scripture dripped from their mouths.  I pray that every decision would be filtered through the revelation of knowledge of Him.  This is no ordinary morning, but it's the Lord's Day!  Many people will gather today to sing the praises of Jesus, the One True God.  I pray that God uses leaders like these to lead our country in repentance as His glorious Gospel is proclaimed. 

God, please give us a hunger for You and Your word, and do so with the gentle hands of a Father.
